Another film featuring Lazenby was The man from Hong Kong, probably best remembered for its brilliant theme tune, Sky High by Jigsaw

I know the song but not the movie. Might be worth a look.

I think another good thing about OHMSS is that it didn't rely on any gadgets to make the cinematic spectacle more 'bombastic'...!!! It was simple stuff and all the better for it...
In fact I might go and watch it again myself!

The best Bond motor in the best Bond movie...!!!
I'd love to see Lotus return to the 007 'franchise' at some juncture!

For me the white Lotus is just as good as the DB5 in the franchise. It was so synonymous with the modern 70s version of Bond.

I recorded and rewatched Live and Let Die last night, for the umpteenth time, and my son who is now 15, watched it with me and loved it too, he hadn't seen it before.
I think it's one of the very best Bond films, love the location filming and it's fast moving and lively. How beautiful was Jane Seymour as Solitaire?!
Must have had some sponsorship from General Motors as every car in it is a 1973 Chevrolet, although the only thing Bond actually drove in it was an ex London Transport RT bus!

That and the Spy Who Loved Me are excellent, Spy being probably the best Bond film along with Goldfinger, IMO.

For me the white Lotus is just as good as the DB5 in the franchise. It was so synonymous with the modern 70s version of Bond. The DB5 is over used now, they should drop it going forward. Interesting to see how they move the films on, see they killed the last Bond. Rumour is that they will say that the Bond name is not the real guy's name and therefore that explains how you can have a new one. Doesn't explain how one Bond references a previous one's experiences of course which happened in a couple of the films. I'd be happy to see it end anyway, it belongs in the past.

To me, there's three which stand out as particularly good, Live and Let Die, The Spy who loved me and For your eyes only. I'm not that bothered about the 60s Connery ones, and the later ones are just average action films and not very memorable.
Of the Roger Moore (my favourite Bond) ones, I would say, Live and Let Die, brilliant, The Man with the Golden Gun, ok ish, like the locations and Sheriff JW makes an appearance, The Spy who loved me, brilliant, Moonraker a bit meh, For your eyes only brilliant, Octopussy a bit iffy and View to a kill quite poor.
