The Milk Minder is news to me. Never seen one anywhere. Anyone have one of those ? The milkman supplied us with a container years ago to stop the milk going off during hot weather, not as posh as that one though. I think it only held 2 bottles & from what I remember it didn't work. Perhaps that's why they didn't catch on Our Milkman was Unigate but no one in our area had those.

I remember seeing those Milk Minders but they didn't help when the milk was on the float getting warm before being put in there.

I came accross these photos whilst sorting through some files. They were taken at Wythall Transport Museum. Although they have a number of electric vehicles the majority of the museum's vehicles are midland buses from 1950's to the 1980's, Birmingham Corporation Transport, West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive and Midland Red.

Great photos Peter. Incidentally, I built the extension on the Wythall Museum about 10 years ago Gene.

Interesting Gene, i believe they recieved a lottery grant in 2005. It is worth a visit if you like old buses and that type of thing.
