That is excellent, with Jackie Stewart. Bloody dangerous occupation in those years.

Must say i really enjoyed the Brazilian G.P. There was plenty of drama with the reds being guilty of shooting themselves in the foot again Red bull were amazing and beat Mercedes fair and square That dogfight at the top end made this a cracking race. Two competitive teams with both sets of drivers in the mix is what i want to see and I hope this continues next year. I'm sure Hamilton doesnt want an easy ride. The competition on this scale will bring the best out of Lewis and he might just have to earn the championship the hard way next year. Next season is looking a good prospect. and it will be a win win for all concerned if it continues like this.

Sadly didn't see the race properly the other week but from what I've seen great result for Red Bull/Toro Rosso and Verstappen generally has driven a mature season where he hasn't really changed his approach, style or lost his killer instinct that much either despite the criticisim he received over the last few seasons.
Stupid accident between Hamilton and Albon with neither really to blame/didn't really give an inch to each other but stupider still was what happened between Vettel and Leclerc when surely in that position (top 4 points) and not really looking like challenging for the lead Ferrari should've kept them steady and told them not to take unnecessary risks and let the faster driver go. Whether that was Seb or Charles is debateable but Seb's got a teammate who's not going to play second fiddle or drift along like Kimi did and will go for it unless the team impose orders to not do so.
Speaking of Kimi a good result for him and Alfa generally but better still was the eventual podium for Sainz and McLaren and they've really come along this year too. As good as Alonso was perhaps him moving on has cleared some dark clouds for McLaren and the whole team seem to be working very well this year. Hopefully they can keep Sainz and Norris and build on this for next season and when they get Mercedes power in 2021 isn't it?
Sainz in particular must be kept by McLaren he'd be a mature set of hands in any of the top teams right now.
Season ender next week erm been a bit here and there this season but a fair few races like Brazil have been interesting and exciting. Like Del says we need Red Bull, Ferrari and even others like McLaren and Renault to get at Mercedes and give them a real run for their money next season. There have been chances but lets be honest the last 5 or so seasons have been a cakewalk for the Merc's which perhaps if we had the cars of a 10-15 years earlier they wouldn't have been.
Still for all it's faults and predictability you have to love F1 and racing generally!

When the racing has been as good as it has been this season then F1 is great to watch. The first half dozen races certainly didnt indicate what a great season was in store for us overall. Very pleased for Honda too. They have really upped their game.

The competition on this scale will bring the best out of Lewis Unfortunately, it also brings out the worst of Lewis and he can be a real moody, moany brat. It's cringeworthy sometimes.

Hamilton does a bit of that and it's not endearing. With his talent he doesn't need to get involved with that. Got to say Hamilton was spot on sunday and held his hands up after taking Albon out. I respect that. Vettel is feeling the pain again isn't he ? He seems far worse for the sulks than Lewis. Very naughty of Seb when it seemed like he tried to bully Leclerc as he went past. Leclerc has got right under his skin.

I hate some of the radio chat between Lewis and Bonno (Pete Bonnington) can be very brattish IMHO but shows the will and desire they have to win.
