Wow lol! I must admit for some reason I do prefer the individual box sets of public eye! Maybe it's because they've each got a different colour! But I will most certainly not be paying them prices!! Guess every so often they're gonna pop up cheaper! Guess it's trying to get a good un in nice condition! They're probably so much because the individual series have now been deleted! and so a lot of the time when the whole box set is re released, it's sometimes the dodge cardboard pull out ones! I remember once seeing The Sweeney series on Amazon going for 180! The people selling these things are probably just opportunists, trying to fund their drug habit! Haha!

£181 wowsers Fair play if you can off them for that much. You need to be desperate to watch it to pay that. This sort of thing happens a fair bit, I'm after a book about The Sweet that is out of print and often goes for silly money. Also remember Minder On The Orient Express being sold for about 80 quid when that went out of print.

One buyer here paid £150 for a dvd set of 1 series only- www.ebay.co.uk/itm/253622514580?epid=72512144&hash=item3b0d147394:g:DwUAAOSwklJa-Z0WA 'like new' box set of 'A Box Named Frank' sold for £50 whilst a sealed 'new' version sold for £150 both on May 8th & both within an hour of each other. Basically the buyer who paid £150 ( unless they intend selling it for more ) paid £100 more for the privilege of removing some cellophane

If so, I feel your pain as I've been after the same but not at the prices I've seen or downloads via unsecure websites. As for "Public Eye", the Ebay prices are eye watering. Even Music Magpie isn't much different. Looks like TPTV seems the best bet at present.

I'm in no rush with Public Eye, I agree it will turn up on TPTV most likely.

The 8pm showing is on the last series now but they repeat the earlier series around 4am (the old Budgie repeat slot) on Fridays.

The Capone Investment which is being repeated on TPTV is also going for fairly high money IMHO, the best one I've seen on amazon is for nearly £40. It's good but not that good.
