Thanks for posting these Saint. I've been to have a look at this location on two occasions, and I really enjoyed the visit. The second time we saw loads of Eton school boys on the High Street. I might go back sometime and try and see a bit more of the area. Charles.

Lovely set of pictures Mr Templar. A favourite series of mine, I've enjoyed watching the re-run on TPTV recently.

Nice one Saint. I caught an episode of Public Eye over christmas. Frank had a meet with Lewis Fiander (Sweeney Ashby-Jones/Gorran) in the above office about a valuable painting. Cheers for sharing.

Network are re-releasing all surviving episodes of this series next month on DVD. It's expensive but is cheaper than the "Box Named Frank" dvd set released previously which are only available via eBay. This new release does not contain the book on the making of Public Eye by Andrew Pixley but will be a welcome addition to my DVD collection.

Thanks for mentioning this on the forum, Steve. The original complete series box set (released in 2012) has been OOP for several years now and is only available at £150 or more online. Vi

This might be of interest to PE fans. It's been on YT for over a year, but I only discovered it today. A nice tribute to Alfred Burke's work on the series featuring contributions from fellow actors and a nice piece from Sarah of TPTV about the diverse age range of the current PE audience. David Wickes gives an insight into the proposal to hand over production to Euston Films and how it might have developed if Alfred had agreed.
Roger Marshall's son Rodney makes a significant contribution too. I follow Rodney's Twitter account where he states in his biog, Happy to chat about my dad's television career as a script writer. He regularly posts behind the scenes stills he has collected over the years and was recently chatting about his Dad's work on The Sweeney. Recommended for anyone here who does the Twitter/X thing (or whatever they call it now).
