Huge thanks again Villain for those fascinating photos! I couldn't resist running DVLA number checks on all those cars where the numbers were visible;
Interesting firstly that George Harrison's White DB5 was still on the road in the mid/late 1980's (going by the background cars), as there is no longer a record of it's number; (nor his Mini Cooper parked next to it in the car port - note the consecutive registration number). Like a few of the cars pictured which don't have a record, perhaps it survives on a different number or was exported abroad years ago.
One of the 3 Mercedes 300SL Gullwings survives - it's a 1956 car in grey - still with the same number - TGH25.
In the background of the photo of the Bentley S3 Flying Spur 4 door (UXR121 - but that number is on something else now) - to the left of the photo is another rare car then and now - a Japanese Honda S800 Coupe - made from 1967 to 1970 - roadsters were also produced.
The photo of the Toyota 2000GT is interesting and they were very expensive when new too.
The H reg AC 428 Convertible still survives.
One of the 2 DB6's pictured survives (excluding Macca's one). Curiously there is no record of the number of Macca's old Mini Cooper, so maybe it's registered abroad or has a different number in Christian Slater's ownership.
The 2 (?) Aston DB4's pictured survive, one is green and the other gold. The older 1954 DB2/4 photographed from the rear still has a record but never been taxed since it was registered with the DVLA and the last V5 was issued 1983. So I wonder if it's stored somewhere......
The E reg Bentley T1 2 door (looks like a rare 2 door saloon by James Young possibly - more rare than the more common coupe produced by Mulliner Park Ward for RR) and might survive sat somewhere, as its last V5 was issued 2017, but it's not been on the road since 1990.
The 1978 Aston V8 on the transporter when it was brand new, also survives.
Sarah Lawson's Mini estate sadly only lasted till 1982.
Interesting that the photo of the Lamborghini Urraco has another Italian registered car parked in front, a Citroen Dyane.
And finally the Bentley S3 Coupe parked in front of the advertising hoardings looks like it has survived, a 1964 car and apparently in Maroon.
I remember fondly going on days out to London which my dad took me on, and one of those things was seeing unusual luxury and exotic cars parked in the streets, when walking by!
