I think 0 - 60 was around 10 secs which was very good for the early sixties so it was going to out drag most cars back then.

The Rover's were great cars. Love the colour of the one above on the ad. The Anglia, a small car before the likes of the supermini class. Great for those times no doubt and an Interesting 60s shape, most likely sold well too. I never got why people went for these as classics. They didn't have much in the way of power or equipment, so is it because they were many peoples first cars in the 70s ?

I would have thought so, they did their job but don't have the appeal of the Escort, which is a classic.
