I had two Mark 5s and loved them both. I don't recollect getting much in the way of muck and water at the bottom end of the engine bay I stand corrected. Often see those lower covers dangling below cars.

I do like the shape of the 420G but not keen on that colour scheme

This '67 3.4 manual overdrive Mk2 Jag looks like very good value considering the small amount of cosmetic attention it could do with, in fat I'd say for the asking price I could easily live with it as it is... www.carandclassic.com/l/C1760116I like the way it 'sits' and being the later 340 with the slimmer bumpers and E-Type head it probably goes like a rocket, relatively speaking that is! It definitely has the vibe of a blagger's motor. The same thing applies to this tempting '65 3.4 manual overdrive S-Type, it looks a right bargain... www.carandclassic.com/car/C1749177

Nice period colour. I would put the steering wheel back to original.

Looks a nice S2 for the money but agreed chaps about ditching the whitewall tyres and the steering wheel I would also ditch those black number plates Steed

Like the car, and the colour, but not those whitewall tyres. Agree on the number plates too.
