Thanks Sparks, don't remember anything else by the 70s group at all I don't think they did much else that hit the charts.
They seem to be one of those bands who perhaps have one song that gets into the charts, and then just seem to vanish, while in fact they are busy touring, doing festivals and release a few albums.
Another band springs to mind - Climax Blues Band.

Another one is Sniff and the Tears, who I just know from the brilliant Drivers Seat from 79 The first time I heard that was about 15 years ago; when it was on Steve Wrights play list for his Radio 2 afternoon show. It's one of those great tracks I missed first time round.
If you have the Old Grey Whistle Test Anniversary CD set, a live performance of it is included on them.
Another one from that era - again, missed first time round was "I got You" by the Split Endz. 1978-1980 is one of my most favourite music eras.

Agree about the 78 to 80 period. It was a great couple of years especially for singles. Drivers Seat, that track is a new one for me, thanks.

I told you I do the one two three fours! If I remember rightly that was Daniel Peacock. Although I saw him at Brooklands a couple of years ago I haven't seen him on the box for years. He used to be in so many programs at the time such as The Comic Strip as well as ads like Kwik-Fit, anyone know what he's doing now? Sam.

I always remember him as "Rudge" from the Porridge film. Gene.

I've been dipping into the Italian loungecore stuff again just lately, this breezy piece of bossa nova just hits the right spot.... Villain
