Very, very sad to report the passing of Bernard Cribbins at the age of 93. BBC - Bernard CribbinsBernard's TV and film appearances are extensive and range from children's TV through to Carry On films and much more besides. A sad loss but a good innings. R.I.P. Bernard

Very sad news indeed. A true legend who entertained generation after generation. Bernard was so very talented and wonderful in everything he did. He was someone who made the world a better place. RIP Bernard Cribbins "Oakworth! Oak-Worth! Oakworth station..."

Sad news, those of his generation seem to be dropping like flies of late. RIP Bernard, what great memories you've left behind - Wrong Arm Of The Law, Two Way Stretch, Fawlty Towers, Jackanory, The Railway Children, Dr.Who (film and TV versions of course), to name just a few.
