Thanks again Arthur and Sparky too for the info, not heard of that series before, interesting. One other one I'd pick out if the Laurence Olivier narrated WW2 documentary - The World at War - I think my dad watched a lot of it, (being a child during those years) and years later when it was repeated on Freeview I caught a few episodes out of interest; still stands up well today.

The World at War is, imo, the best documentary series ever made. I watched it first time it was on in 73/74 and I've got it on DVD.

It shows up sporadically on the Yesterday channel I think.

Cheers Arthur, I used to watch Dick Barton, and it was shown again not long ago on TPTV.
That's quite a line up on that music programme, some great stuff there

At that time I remember we used to watch Dick Barton then Happy Days although don't remember watching The Incredible Hulk. However I do remember sometimes watching the Dick Turpin series starring Richard O'Sullivan. Thanks again Arthur!

"Alice Through the Looking Glass" at 12.25 - with Cyril Fletcher. About 5 years later, Cyril would be seen at lunctimes presenting Gardening Today from the 'Television Garden' in Birmingham. I think the other presenter alongside him was Bob Price.

I'll watch a bit of Schools programmes then thought I'd make myself busy until that new series World In Action comes on. I'll nip out for a pint and a takeaway after and get back for the International Boxing to watch John Conteh
