4 hours later, all I can report is a slight headache and very slightly aching arm. That's another step closer to getting the next Meet planned Gene. Great news 👍 The slight headache and slightly sore arm was the same for me. It didn't stop from doing anything, and it never got that bad that I felt the need to take anything for it. Also really good to hear you've started planning the next Meet

Well, that's me sorted! Appointment was 9am. It was 8.55 when I arrived and I was on my way home at 9.05. Everything ran like clockwork and staff were exceptional. 4 hours later, all I can report is a slight headache and very slightly aching arm. That's another step closer to getting the next Meet planned Gene. Great news Gene, glad it all went so well. A large medicinal single malt should help your swede and if that doesn't work then a second and third large medicinal single malt should do the trick. But, best to have a fourth and fifth to be certain. Sam.

Yes, glad it went well Gene. I had my first one about 10 days ago, no side effects, it was the Astra Seneca one.

OK, well I've had mine now although I feel fine at the moment but was warned about the later symptoms, didn't take long, and no pains yet.

My wife got a call at work and had hers today, she’s only 49, I think they were ensuring they didn’t waste any.

When I had my jab, I read that you weren't supposed to drink for a few weeks (!!) afterwards to help with its efficacy. Unfortunately, by this time I was several cans of San Miguel Especial down. I felt like Sgt. Carter after he had his tetanus in "Taste Of Fear" Needless to say, I kept calm and carried on drinking

Haven’t heard that. Sounds like a plan by the anti-lagerists.

I heard that is is advisable (although no concrete evidence as to why) to not drink for a couple of days before or after the jab. Steed
