Well I'm pleased to say that I had the jab a 2:00pm today, it was the Astra Zeneca and so far nothing to report. The whole setup in the vaccination centre was run like clockwork, almost like a conveyor belt of people entering and leaving. The jab was administered really well and I hardly felt a thing. Most staff were volunteers and with 16 cubicles set up those giving the jabs were moving through each cubicle in rotation, that centre alone must be vaccinating many hundreds of people each and every day. Sam.

Sam. Excellent news there Sam I had a similar experience when I went for my Astra Zeneca jab on Saturday. I was also allowed into the vaccination centre earlier than planned as everything seemed to be working very well Vi

Sam. Good news. Glad you are not French, you'd be waiting till Christmas, or told it's actually no good, or both. I felt a bit rough after about 12 hours which lasted for about 16 hours but not that bad and no problems since. No blood clots either.

The vaccine program is really going well it seems compared to what is happening elsewhere.

Well, that's me sorted! Appointment was 9am. It was 8.55 when I arrived and I was on my way home at 9.05. Everything ran like clockwork and staff were exceptional. 4 hours later, all I can report is a slight headache and very slightly aching arm. That's another step closer to getting the next Meet planned Gene.
