Like most people I dont like wearing masks for long periods but I think it would definately be a good idea to continue wearing them on public transport in the future. I'm sure that's where we pick up most of of our viruses and infections. I've always hated touching the handles on buses so I might keep carrying hand gel in my pocket when I have to use P. Transport in the future. Yes, I thought the same. Been using the hand gel for a few years when on the tube.

I read that the woman in the video is Mia Khalifa, I wouldn't know who she is but for seeing her on 'Hard Talk' a while ago, the BBC news interview show. She's an ex p**n performer. Why she was filmed doing this is anyone's business. What kind of publicity stunt is pretending to pick up a dog turd with a face mask? Besides, you're supposed to put it in a bag before binning it aren't you? I'll miss wearing a mask to go to the shops, no need to shave or worry about how you look plus people are less inclined to talk to you No fun for people who have to wear them for hours at a time though.

I agree that they have been useful apart from the germ protection. They keep the boat warm when it's cold out.

The Astra jab does make you feel a bit rubbish. But only for half a day or so in my case.

Annie and I got our call-up papers through for the jab yesterday so we'll be booking them in the next few days.
Does anyone get to know what jab they're having in advance? I know there's a few now but do you get the choice or is it whatever's available at the vaccination centre?
Sam.

I know that the members of my family that have had it have all had the Oxford jab and that there wasn't a choice when they went.

It's most likely the Oxford Astra one unless you having it in a hospital where they can keep the Pfizer one cold enough. If they ask you to drop your kegs and bend over you are probably in the wrong place and should go next door.
