James Warrior had the Pfizer vaccine today. All good despite the 90 minute queue. Oddly enough, he had it done at the old Central TV building in Lenton Lane, Notts. Gene. Good to hear. Glad he got one before those garlic eaters kept them all!

A mate had his, not sure if it was yesterday or Friday at the old Central Studios. Ironically, he worked there from when it first opened in 1983 until Carlton closed it in 2004.
Not surprised the University (current owners) are using it as a Vaccine Centre - though it's a pain in the backside to get to as it's in the middle of an industrial estate with no regular Public Transport and very limited car parking and miles from the City Centre. They must be also using the Ice Arena, and City Centre Universities.
My mate offered his cinema - but was turned down. (Mind you, he's not best mates with the Home Secretary or Boris)

The news programs in Australia have reported regularly on all of Captain Sir Tom's achievements and the news of his health.
The whole world is wishing him a speedy recovery.

Folks, over 60's can now book the jab on line, I've just done it. You need your 10 digit NHS number, off a prescription for example. I don't look 61, I am just am.

I'm getting closer to it but not 60 just yet Essex though I am waiting to see when Annie and I get our call-up letters.
It'll still be wise to wear the masks for some time yet though, not just because of the spread of Covid but also because the incidences of the regular flus and colds have been much reduced.
To think I used to say that the Chinese tourists were odd to wear masks when visiting the UK I think there's a lesson to learn (despite the origins of Covid) to reduce the transmission of other bugs and viruses.

Like most people I dont like wearing masks for long periods but I think it would definately be a good idea to continue wearing them on public transport in the future. I'm sure that's where we pick up most of of our viruses and infections. I've always hated touching the handles on buses so I might keep carrying hand gel in my pocket when I have to use P. Transport in the future.

Good idea Charles. Being Asthmatic I might utilise a mask in future winters in crowded places. I feel it has benefitted me beyond covid this winter.

My wife suffers from Asthma Del. We bought a Dyson Air Purifier last year, after a friend suggested it might help. As you know the condition can be worse on some days than others. The product definitely helps her. She keeps it mainly in the bedroom, but doesn't need it every night just whenever the condition flares up a bit.
