Oops. Not much chance of survival for this Bentley: But the number plate lives on with this 1948 Bentley MK VI Special. Gene. There are houses like the ones on the right in Sidcup Hill, though they have been extended since then. Gene.

Quick one for Del, have you seen a site called Ian's Bus Stop, it's a mine of information on London Transport buses.
On classic cars, a spot on Monday afternoon was one of the early A55 Cambridges, the one with the pointed rear fins, made from 59 to 61. It was on Platt lane, Rusholme, in Manchester

I have indeed Cartman, it's one of a few fantastic resources for London Transport Bus and Tram history. I had a look at Sidcup hill and I think you're spot on Gene. I looked about a bit but couldn't find those type of houses elsewhere

Nice one Gene I thought it was further up but I can see now that the crash is obscuring the turning just ahead of 148. Oh dear, not a fan of the modern buildings on the left of shot that look to have replaced more period property. Nice find and detective work on this now and then. Enjoyed looking into that this afternoon.

Just seen a superb early Mini, no suffix letter, so before 63. It was parked and the friendly owner was just getting in it so had a bit of a chat. It was a bit of a hybrid, it had been reshelled with a late bodyshell and original mark 1 Mini (59-67) parts used in the new shell. Super job though

A good spot while I was out yesterday but not quick enough to get my phone out for a smudge (arms full of boxes) was a white Mercedes SL identical to that from Dempsey and Makepeace turning off of the A30 into Egham. It appeared to be in excellent condition and made a few others' heads turn as it went by, certainly more than a modern Merc would do.
Sam.

Not spotted by me, but this photo has raised questions over what the car is on the right of the photo. My first guess was a GT Alpine but as similar as it is, there are a lot of differences. Any ideas..?

Looks like some sort of glassfibre body kit car/special of some sort, it's got a wrap round windscreen, like on an F type Victor or PA Cresta, which the Alpine GT didn't have. Like the RTL buses and the 100E van
