Another great batch Villain - you can keep posting these as log as you want mate ! I noticed that the second Jag doesn't have the crumpled nearside wing that the first Jag has either GH.

Cheers mate, I've got a few more ot add later Yes the other Jag has a crushed wing where the door was pushed back in a previous take, they must have used it again for this shot, but they still used the other one for the scene where the door actually gets ripped right off.

Excellent thread.
Like the dvd - commentaries and other extras give further insight.
So many memorable quotes - always prefer a beer from a thin glass!
Cheers,
Stan

Thanks for those Villain, some great pics there.
GC is one of the greatest films ever. Some superb scenes, in particular the one when Stallone delivered his immortal line "wooorrr woorrr worrr nnnooo nnnoooo out of shape" to the crooked New York business magnate before discharging several rounds from his snubbed nosed Uzi.
Ah hang on, there was an earlier GC wasn't there?
(Is it possible to be banned on your first day and second post!)
Nah seriously. Aside from Caine being a very unrisible Geordie, GC was gritty, atmospheric perfection.
I'm a long way from Newcastle/Gateshead, but I've been up there a few times now - and was able to view the Car Park and Brumby's house before they would be obliterated in time. Sadly the ferry pier had long gone though - would love to have been able to stand there.
Must watch it again very soon.

Thanks PP, I've got a few more pics to post some time - busy sorting out some more for the 'Robbery' and 'Beatles / Stones' threads at the minute but I'll get round to them eventually (it takes bloody ages to load them all up onto photo-bucket!). By the way, I like your avatar pic.... good old Tone and Rodge on form as usual! Reminds me.... I've got tons of 'Persuaders' material which I'll start another thread for soon

Look forward to those Villain That's a great scene from the Persuaders. Obviously used as an insert into the regular titles throughout the series, which is why it's probably iconic to me. And there's a bit of art there too! As cheesy as it is, I absolutely love the "Gotta Get Away" driving montage earlier on as the lads race each other away from Nice airport. As far removed from Get Carter as it's possible to get. But I love them both.
