I thought it was worth every penny of the 12 notes to see it on the big screen.

You only have a week GC. Use the link on Peter Picards post on the previous page to find your local showing. I went to The Electric in Birmingham on Sunday evening to see Get Carter. Really enjoyed seeing it on the big screen.
How did you rate the 4k high definition aspect of it Peter ?

I've only ever seen Get Carter on a standard definition TV or DVD and didn't think the quality of the 4K picture was that much clearer. The sound seemed improved, although i'm not sure if that's due to the restoration or just because it was in a cinema.
It was Sunday evening when i saw the film and there were only 11 people watching it........ that did surprise me.

We said similar regarding the picture quality. As for the amount of people I'm not surprised as the advertising budget seems to be zero. They seem to be relying on word of mouth. If it wasn't for you guys on here I would have missed it.

The Electric Cinema had a Get Carter poster on display outside. These days you seem to have to be on e-mailing lists to hear about anything or as you say Del, be using a forum like 43TV.

And spent it in the company of Tom Cruise, Denise Welch, David Walliams and Andrew Lloyd-Webber apparently.
He should have had a pub crawl with Quincy Jones, who also had his 90th on the same day.
But gawd bless you Sir Michael.
