Thanks Saint great news.
I made a list several weeks ago of some stuff I wanted from Network, so I will be ordering quite a few things very soon now.

One of the items I ordered was 'Callan' the monochrome years.
I was just wondering if anyone knows whether the black and white episodes are complete or were some of them lost?
Charles.

Apparently 11 of the 22 black & white episodes survive, also the Armchair Theatre play that began it all 'A Magnum For Schneider'.

Cheers Arthur. Shame, never mind half is better than nothing. I'm glad they've included the play anyway.

I was lucky it seems in that both of the items I ordered arrived. I am working my way through the DVD Box Set of Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) and am enjoying it immensely. Whilst I enjoyed listening to the three CD set of the soundtrack and incidental music used in the series, it was pretty much all just a variation on the opening/closing theme and not varied like the library music used in The Sweeney for example. The most disappointing aspect however is that opening and closing theme tunes as they appear on this CD set are very poor audibly compared to the rest of the pieces (over 150) which is frustrating as they are the main titles. It's a shame and lets this set down. The accompanying booklet is very informative however. For those thinking about purchasing this, there is a "Best Of" CD that perhaps should be considered instead. The DVD of the TV series is packed with actors from The Sweeney and once I've watched all of the episodes I'll put up list of all those spotted
