I'll start adding a few extra bits to this thread as and when I get chance. These will also be grafted into my opening post so everything is in one place.
Here is a a time lapse of the scene when Daisy is running away from home.
Gene.

Great time lapse Gene, excellent work.
The usual overgrowth blocking the view but easily recognisable.
Thanks for posting.
Sam.

Superb thread created here by Gene.
A wonderfully atmospheric film.
Great to see so many memories from a bygone era captured so well.
Nice one, Guv.

I have recently been contacted by a lovely lady by the name of Kath Fox. Kath is the niece of the late great Bill Naughton, who wrote the original Spring & Port Wine stage play. Kath recently attended a Bill Naughton event in Bolton and met up with my friend Bernie (who was in the film). Kath has been very kind indeed to send me a selection of behind the scenes photographs, which I have grafted into my opening post on this thread. I will also post them below. Thank you Kath Behind the scenes in Sunnyside Mill... (Adrienne Posta in the middle of the 3 girls) Susan George. Susan George with mill workers. Avril Elgar & Diana Coupland... What great photos. I love this film, but have only seen it once, must rewatch it. Great memories, as I lived in Radcliffe which is very nearby, and would have been 9 at the time.

Great photos, and thanks once again Gene! I remember the other schoolkids in my class when watched the film back in 1986 remarking how young Len Jones looked yet he was riding a motor scooter in the film, but our teacher at the time said he believed young Wilf was supposed to be 16/17.
