If a seat at Williams were offered to him, I think he'd go. They are very competitive at the moment. I'd love to see him continue next year. Gene. Agree, I feel he has a few seasons left in him. He could replace Massa or Bottas no probs he's good enough. His weakness is definitely Qualifying.

The way things are with McLaren at the moment, I doubt either of the drivers want to stay there beyond this season.

If they want the racing to be a contest then they should allow testing. It's ridiculous that a new engine mfg has to do its testing during the season. That is a handicap without a doubt. How are they going to encourage new teams to join?

F1 is a mess right now and something needs to be done to attract teams and fans alike.

Did you see the pre-race interview with Max Mosley. He made a thinly veiled attack on Ecclestone and the top 3 teams being for being too greedy and killing the sport.
The fact is is F1 is losing appeal and they need to turn it around quick because if 2 or 3 of the manufacturer's walk it will really be shite. A grid full of Marussia type teams is what you will be left with.
The push to take the sport away from some great historic tracks to new bland ones around the globe hasn't helped and its a major factor in pushing costs up.
I'd like them to get rid of shitty tracks like the Valencia's and Singapore's of recent years and bring back the French, German and Portuguese Gp's of the past.

I'd agree with that. The French GP and the German GP were always good races. I'd like to see a return to Imola too.
Greed has played a major part in what F1 has become.

I wasn't a fan of Imola. It made for a processional race more often than not as it was very narrow. It could work these day though with the DRS. The race that is still often boring AF is Barcelona. That place needs to update some of the corners so as to give an overtaking opportunity. Paul Ricard or Magny Cours as the French would probably be much better races these days with the new technology. Shoot me down here but I hate those poxy chicanes at Monza. They need to sort something about them too, because the other 75% of that track is magic. The Lessmos and Parabolica are fantastic. Worst upgrade of an old track award goes to..... Hockenheim. Awful supposed upgrade and the fans agree that its sh**. Diamonds in the F1 pack in no order: Silverstone Monza Monaco Spa Suzuka Montreal Melbourne Sepang Brazil The rest can do one as they are bland

Having been to the original Hockenheim I can whole heartedly agree with you that it has been ruined. Monaco is just a procession. It was different to actually be there a few years ago for the GP. The sound was awesome, but the chances of seeing an overtake are next to zero.
Perhaps they should bring back Donnington too. That produced a stunner of a race in 1993. I know the rain had something to do with the spectacle but non the less, a decent circuit.
Gene.

Yes I think Donnington stepped in for another track who couldn't host it. Heres what i found out about it.
After plans to hold an Asian Grand Prix at the Nippon Autopolis in Japan failed to materialise, the first European Grand Prix for eight years was run as the third race of the 1993 season. Donington Park was awarded the race, having unsuccessfully bid to host the British Grand Prix. Video Game company Sega sponsored the race and the logo could be seen throughout the Grand Prix and on the podium. Sega also had naming rights to the Grand Prix.
Good as that race was Brands Hatch would get my vote for a european GP instead of Donington Park.
