To be fair Windy, apart from Monza and Monaco, they're all pretty much the same these days. Massive asphalt sprawls with no real incentive to stay on line. I realise that driver safety is paramount but the tracks seem (to the average person) to be unchallenging. So no, I won't miss it, it'll probably be replaced by something just as bland.

IIRC Malaysia was one of the Tilke tracks which promised much but failed to deliver. On its plus side it's meant to be the hottest race on the F1 calendar and there's been some good ones over the years but there's also been some duff ones too. Also the success of Singapore and it's Night Race USP hasn't helped Mslaysia too. Would honestly like a European race like France or Germany back or a new location/country given a shot than Malaysia who've had their time so no won't miss it

The poor positioning of the DRS zones on the long straights makes the racing and overtaking too predictable and therefore not enjoyable. Brazil and Singapore are both in negotiations at the moment and not certain for 2018. No new circuits proposed, so it may be a return to India or, a lack of interest from Germany and the Max factor could see Sandvoort again.

Sandvoort could be interesting and take it it's not the animal circuit it used to be in the 70's... Be nice to see Paul Ricard, Nurburgring or Magny Cors back on the calendar too perhaps some Euro circuits could be on every other year too to give some countries a go too and spice the seasons up!

I'd like to see Magny Cours return. I did the 2001 GP there and it was a great atmosphere. Same for the Nurburgring. Perhaps the Pacific GP at Aida too. A real favourite to return to though would have to be Imola.

I wouldn't mind Paul Ricard making a comeback or better still make it a guest track that changes every year. Hated Imola, always a boring race on a narrow old track. Another I don't want to see back on the list is Buenos Aires I liked Estoril as a circuit but can't see that making a comeback. Malaysia had its merits and its drawbacks over the years. The racing pre DRS was fairly boring not a lot of overtaking despite the long straights post DRS it became all to easy to overtake. This tracks strength and its best races were when it rained there. And boy does it rain !!!

The news is that Jenson has said this WILL be his last F1 race despite being under contract for 2018. I can't see him coming back either unless McLaren miraculously produce a winning car next year - or Vandoorne has to miss a race for whatever reason. Fernando Alonso has also strongly hinted that he is considering a move to the World Endurance Championship at the end of his current contract. Such a shame that a driver of his calibre is being wasted in non competitive machinery.
We also bid farewell to Felipe Massa, who seems to have been around forever. I wish him well in whatever he does in the future. A nice guy on and off the track.
Lewis has nothing to lose this weekend and Rosberg realistically only needs a podium. Whichever way the title goes, the driver will deserve the title this year.

Yeah I will certainly miss Felipe and Jenson after this season. Still I think the time's right (especially for Felipe) to call it a day. Both drivers can leave F1 with their heads held high and just hope whoever replaces them in F1 is as well thought of 10-15 years down the line. The likes of Riccardo, Verstappen, Sainz jr and a few others I quite like as much as Jenson/Felipe so reckon the driving talents there. Surprised Raikonnen's hanging in there at the moment. But generally he's performed very well with a dog of a Ferrari and deserves one more season - even if it just adds a bit of stability to Ferrari for 2017-18. What needs to change is the excitement and have cars the drivers can 'race' rather than manage. Sad that Alonso's contemplating a move to rival formula's like World Endurance Championship but I suppose it's not as easy as simply changing rules to achieve this - too many rule changes in the last few years IMHO. As for the title battle can't say who's gonna do the business. If the Mercs races run to plan can see it being Rosberg, but if Red Bull and dare I say it Ferrari get some form they can easily cause an upset. Both Lewis and Nico have generally had a good season this year and at least it's not been all over with 3-4 races to go. But can only be one winner so looking forward to whoever is victorious this over the weekend. Let battle commence!
