Sad news!
His name will always be synonymous with Hammer Horror films. Lived to be a good age though, 93 was good going.

Sad news indeed. I just heard about his career on the radio. They said Christopher had been in 250 productions, and most of them were not the Horror films he became synonymous with. I thought he played the Bond Villain, Scaramanga well R.I.P Christopher.

Yes, very sad indeed. Probably the best portrayal of Dracula on screen, though I don't think he really enjoyed playing the count in many of those Hammer sequels that followed the original in 1958. RIP Sir Christopher

The three greatest in my opinion are all now back together.
R.I.P Vincent, Peter & Christopher. Thanks for the wonderful films.

Gene, another interesting thing to note about the three great men is how they were all born in the same month of May around the 27th. Peter Cushing 26th May 1913 Vincent Price 27th May 1911 Christopher Lee 27th May 1922 As Sir Christopher once said in an interview about this: "Make of that what you will."

RIP Sir Christiphor, another old school childhood hero off to the pearley gates.
His film career aside, it's not often mentioned that he served his country during WWII (as many of his generation did of course), when he belonged to a covert SAS style Nazi hunting team. Also rarely mentioned is that Ian Fleming would have liked him to play James Bond and that they were distantly related.
Apparently veteran actor Ron Moody has also passed away.
A very sad day indeed.

I almost forgot Christopher made a good appearance in Star Wars as Count Dooku.
