And another: Sam. I heard this on the radio today and couldn't remember if it had already been mentioned. It is bloody awful! Steed

Although David Bowie is revered for so much of his music there can be no argument that he made one or two that were, shall we say, below the expected standard. Here's one that came up on YouTube just now when I wanted The Kinks' original playing in the background while getting my nose stuck into the forum:
Poor comparison in my opinion.
Sam.

This is the kind of thing artists do to liven up a set list so i never got why this was released. Remember hearing it on the radio i'd guess 15 year ago.

I was listening to the Now 70s music channel last night and this came on, definitely one for flushing down the khazi:
Sam.

Sorry to inflict this on you all...
I had forgotten about this - until the Top of the Pops repeats....
Not sure this qualifies - BUT, it's a rip off of a perfectly good Abba track.
Then there is is travesty
Or this...
Lastly, this...
Sorry to inflict all this on you all.....

I don't recall hearing the last three (and I don't wish to hear them again!) but I had successfully managed to completely forget all about the first two until now! But now I find I've got to try to forget them all over again! Sam.

So many times this track comes on the radio and each time I have to switch it off as it goes through me like no other. It is truly abhorrent. Nothing short of awful in its own right, but when compared to Nilsson's version (which in itself was a cover of the original by Badfinger) it sounds even worse. Mariah Carey Version Harry Nilsson version The original by Badfinger Gene.
