Interesting article, but there are more than thirty left - I know someone in the P6 owner's club who owns five of them! General consensus is that 160 were made, although some sources say around 200. Villain

Wouldn't say I was massively keen on that estate conversion. I am a big fan of the P6, and, to me, that just Looks a bit wrong

Another '70s Jag I meant to post the other day - a fairly rare Series 2 XJ6 in 3.4 litre form, most of these were specced with cloth seats when new but this one has the leather option, looks like good value at the asking price... www.carandclassic.com/l/C1675569(First registered in London, and the 3.4 engine is often said to be smoother than the standard 4.2) Villain

Here's a real rarity - a RHD NSU Ro80, not everyone's cup of tea but to my (biased) eyes it's a timeless gem and still looks futuristic... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196150807004?hash=item2dab7fc9dc:g:ZhAAAOSwkDJk9wYANyree Dawn Porter drove one in a few episodes of 'The Protectors'... They had issues with the original rotary engines but most have been well and truly sorted now. Villain

Unfortunately the engines were rubbish, they only lasted about 30000 miles and they were also very heavy on fuel. Ford V4s were quite often substituted,

They weren't great, rough, noisy and out of balance but they did at least work with a reasonable degree of reliability. They were used in the Corsair, Mark 4 Zephyr and Transit, might be wrong but maybe the early Capris too
