Some MGA cars from a show at the weekend at Yarra Glen race track (horse track, not cars). The day was far too hot and plenty of cars were leaving before 1pm. I was pleased to see these MGAs. Their owners were all under shade hearing which cars had won awards for the day. Thanks for posting Batgirl I do like the MGA, so much better looking than the MGB / MGC and ideal in a stable alongside an Austin-Healey 3000, a Jag XK140, and a BMW 507. I'm allowed to dream aren't I? Sam.

Yes I like the MGA, much more rakish looking and sporty compared to the B.

Glad you liked that pic.
I've now had a chance to upload some more pics from the day.
Imagine having both of these in the garage ! One for the weekends and one to drive to work.

Great photos Batgirl 👍
The E-Types and Astons are my favourite!

Me too re E Types, best looking car ever, certainly the early coupe versions.
The 5.3s lost a bit style, those rear lights were horrible.

I don't know classic car spotting but in terms of classic number spotting I once saw PEN15 in the mid 80's, on a Rolls I think.
Tried it on reg check but just comes back with vehicle details can't be found so maybe its been withdrawn.

PEN15 used to be owned by Steve Parrish (Barry Sheene's team-mate when they rode for Suzuki), he also owned another similar plate based on the same appendage but the actual registration has slipped my mind for now.
