Great pic. Like the BAC 1-11s in the background too, incidentally, the only plane I’ve ever flown in!

Walked past this lovely specimen on Sunday when I went for a stroll. Though she is a little tatty, still considerably more attractive than 95% of what's on the roads!

That's a BMW 318 and is 31 years old amazingly. It has 140k on the clock Thanks for posting the picture Drakey Gene.

I can't help but feel like I missed out on the best years of, well, everything really! It's also mad that 31 years isn't very long in the grand scheme of things, but you think how much things like cars have completely and utterly changed in appearance. Imagine being in 1987 with that lovely car and being shown a picture of one of 2018's releases!

That is a nice, classy looking car. By 1987 stuff from Ford, Vauxhall, BL etc has become styleless and plasticky looking, but not that BMW

Great pic Alex, thanks for posting. The E30 BMW (and corresponding E33 M3) was in my opinion by far the best style throughout all generations of the 3-series range. Seeing them takes me back to the classic BTCC races of the day when the two-door E30/E33 was up against the Sierra RS Cosworth. Whatever the race results, the BMW was the better looking of the two cars. Sam.
