Yes I caught some of 'Public Eye' the other night. It's the series set in Brighton, were Frank's just come out of prison after being framed. I saw the series several years ago. I love Alfred Burke's performance in it.

I noticed an episode of 'Public Eye' on talkingpictures this evening. I think they've just started showing it this week from series 4, it's on each week day at 8pm, well worth watching or recording if you've not seen it before. I noticed that too Arthur and have set my Sky+ They are showing from episode 1 of the Thames series, not many of the earlier ABC series episodes survive. The Saint Saint, if you end up enjoying the series, it might be worth investing in the Network set, A Box Called Frank (2012), which has all the surviving episodes and includes a fascinating guide to the series by TV historian Andrew Pixley. Very good show 'Danger UXB' all the better for being made on film. I've been watching The Gentle Touch & it's not dated well at all, an episode last week, 'Mad Dog', about a supposedly rabid dog on the loose was embarrassing to watch.

Yes, i watched a bit of an episode of the Gentle Touch a week or two back, where Jill Gascoigne had to go undercover and thought it was quite poor. I only watched it on and off when it was originally on, wasn't a massive fan.

I reckon TPTV should show the first 3 series of The Bill uncut and at a 9pm slot like it was originally shown. I wouldn't mind them showing Target either starring Patrick Mower. Same goes for 1975's Quiller and The XYY Man/Strangers featuring the late, great Don Henderson.

I've never seen Target so i'd be very interested to see that show repeated.

I've never seen Target so i'd be very interested to see that show repeated. I don’t think it’s ever been repeated. I do vaguely remember it and didn’t think it was much good, personally. It seemed like a belated and inferior attempt to copy the Sweeney by the BBC which didn’t work.
