It will be good to see after many years ( later in the day ) I presume this is the 1953-61 series that Network released on DVD a while back, originally shown as cinema B features before being transmitted on TV later on. The BBC series of the same name from 1960 only has three episodes that are know to exist.

'Scotland Yard' a proper fifties series if ever there was one. I went and had a look at the Merton Studios were there filmed shows like this about eight years ago. I prefer The Edgar Wallace mysteries myself though.

Two spoofs of Edgar Lustgarten- I will have a look at these skits later I suppose a lot of people had never heard of Edgar Lustgarten until Talking Pictures come along, but I remember Edgar and some of these shows from years ago, mind you they were fairly old then. Apparently he came from the North West. I believe also he used to do stuff on BBC Radio.

Not sure I ever saw any Edgar Lustgarten on tv but I do recall the name, maybe channel 4 showed some, they used to show the Edgar Wallace films in the mid 80s, I remember seeing the odd one. I've seen 'Edgar Lustgarten' listed as a show title in the 70's TV Times issues I have.

I noticed an episode of 'Public Eye' on talkingpictures this evening. I think they've just started showing it this week from series 4, it's on each week day at 8pm, well worth watching or recording if you've not seen it before.

I noticed that too Arthur and have set my Sky+ They are showing from episode 1 of the Thames series, not many of the earlier ABC series episodes survive. The Saint
