Does anyone remember this sitcom from 1993? It features Richard Briers as a man who gets a head injury that leaves him vulnerable to advertising, particularly tv ads which he begins to take literally. Written by David Renwick of 'One Foot In The Grave' & Andrew Marshall who wrote the George Cole sitcom 'Dad', it was only shown once on BBC1. It was released on dvd but it's out of print & is only sold for silly money on amazon, but it is on youtube. It's a black comedy in 4 parts & very funny at times.

Here's a trailer for it. I had a memory of it starring either George Cole or Richard Briers, it turns out that Cole was in a sitcom by one of the writers of 'If You See God' called 'Dad'.

I don't recall seeing this one with Richard Briers but I do remember seeing that George Cole was in 'Dad' - not that I watched that either!
Off to a tangent but I do remember seeing Richard Briers at Green Park Underground station while I was doing some work there at the station sometime in '99. He was talking to one of the station staff about a problem about his ticket. He was just so polite and humble, and appeared to be quite an easy-going person.
Sam.

Before I even click on that video clip - that looks very much like Roger Brierley playing the Doctor - another Sweeney face from the episode On The Run where he played the Psychiatrist. Gene.

Tall for his height isn't he? I noticed Prosser from 'Ringer', Angus MacKay, also playing a doctor, in the last episode.
