Does anyone else on here like this? Its a guilty pleasure of mine as I think it has a bit of a 70s air about it. Its basic and a bit vulgar and has a few characters in it you might have got in a 70s sitcom. Cross dressing Tim Healey, the camp gay guy, Kenneth, at the hair salon, Sherrie Hewson as the slightly snobby manageress and the OAP swingers, Donald and Jackie (Donald sadly died recently)

Good post Cartman. Sadly Benidorm's one of those programmes which has sort of passed me by. I don't dislike it just haven't really properly watched one and also I think I'd have to watch it from the start to sort of get it and if possible like it. So much on these days (both new and old) you just don't get the time for it but might be one I'll try and catch at some point in the near future. Plus interesting to see Tim Healy in drag too. Hope he's on the mend at the moment too.

Great post Cartman I have watched this series a few times. As usual the early series are the best. It is a bit vulgar at times but some good laughs. I liked The Oracle played by Johnny Vegas, a shame he left the show. I recently watched 2 episodes of the new series, not sure about it to be honest. I don't much like Tim Healy's character in it. I did still find bits of it funny but not the same without the "gravy" family in it. Shame about Donald Stewart, some of the stuff he came out with was priceless. The special episodes aren't much cop I don't think. It got a bit silly at times.
