I saw this on the BBC website about a book written by George Dailey Great Pubs of London. www.bbc.co.uk/news/in-pictures-38384519The Blackfriar, George Inn and The Dove which we've checked out on the meets all feature and wouldn't mind checking a few mentioned here I've not done... pity I didn't see this link a few weeks back (Xmas etc.).  |

The Blackfriar is a great old pub. Was the Cheshire Cheese (rebuilt in 1667) in there Dirty ?

The Cheshire Cheese is a cracking pub as we well know Del, but another I had planned on the Pre Meet Drinks evening was The Cittie Of Yorke which is also on that list. A great pub which I've been in a few times. In fact, I've been in all of those I think over time. Good post DE  |

Sure is lads I might (?) have done The Prospect of Whitby in my time and will definitely have a check out of a few on this list in the Spring/Summer time too. One thing about us lads we find some good boozers!  |

Every pub listed looks superb and I know that the ones I have visited are indeed mighty fine public drinking houses!
