Not many acts from across the pond I like but Beck is an exception to the rule:

I've made a point of listening to the songs from Life On Mars episode 3 today so as to get even more in the mood for the upcoming Meet.
Sweet - Ballroom Blitz Uriah Heep - Gypsy Free - Wishing Well Atomic Rooster - Head In The Sky Hawkwind - Brainstorm David Bowie - Jean Genie Jethro Tull - Cross Eyed Mary Hawkwind - Silver Machine Slade - Gudbuy T'Jane The Rolling Stones - Wild Horses Sweet - Blockbuster Roger Whittaker - I Don't Believe In If Anymore
Pick of them has to be Jean Genie, closely followed by Ballroom Blitz and Blockbuster. But then Wishing Well and Gudbuy T' Jane are also classics. What's not to like?
Jean Gene Genie.

Speaking of The Sweet, this previously unreleased song became one of my favourites of theirs after hearing it recently-

Not many acts from across the pond I like but Beck is an exception to the rule: I agree. The guy is a genius.

Speaking of The Sweet, this previously unreleased song became one of my favourites of theirs after hearing it recently- How did Queen get all the fame and glory when there's Sweet Fanny Adams? :-
