I heard this very catchy theme in a 1976 episode of 'Angels' during a scene in a nightclub. I believe AJL Band were from Singapore & did 2 albums.

A good day working from home today with no Teams/Zoom meetings to mess things up, perfect for a Friday and to have Youtube playing a completely random selection from my playlists in the background. Heard so far today and in no particular order: Golden Earring - Radar Love - Approaching 50 years old this takes me back to Christmas '73 and sitting on the floor at home with my parents playing with my new Scalextric set. Sweet - Love Is Like Oxygen A schooldays memory, going round to a mate's house for homework, stopping for a crafty ciggy but getting caught and receiving a b***ocking from his mum. Love Affair - Rainbow Valley
I'm just getting reacquainted with Love Affair, Steve Ellis had a voice that defied his appearance I think, especially in Everlasting Love. I was surprised to see that he and Roger Daltry are such good mates. Duran Duran - Ordinary World
After a few years without anything in the charts this was a welcome return to form in 1993 from The Wedding Album. Hall & Oates - Private Eyes From the Privates Eyes album from 1981 this takes me back to Christmas 1981, Annie and I had just turned 20 three weeks before and were over two months into the process of buying our first house. Kim Wilde - You Came
Very much the style of the 80's, I could watch Kim over and over. ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man
Another great memory of a works do which was a fancy dress dinner/disco at Thorpe Park and where Annie won the ZZ Top album Eliminator in the raffle. George Michael - A Different Corner
Careless Whisper is widely regarded as George's best but in my opinion this is very much on par, fantastic vocals. Blondie - Union City Blue
A string of singles from the late 70's and early 80' but this stands out as my favourite. Olivia Newton-John - A Little More Love
Hmmm, not much to say here apart from the fact that I could watch ONJ all day long! Abit of an eclectic selection with abit of my waffle thrown in the mix. Sam.

A great bit of listening this morning, Greatest Hits radio do a top 10 at 10, where they play 10 songs from a year, and today it was 1978 The cars My best friends girl Bee Gees Night fever Eruption I can't stand the rain Donna Summer MacArthur park Clout Substitute Paul McCartney With a little luck Lindisfarne Run for home Motors Airport Justin Hayward Forever Autumn Suzy Quatro if you can't give me love Unrelated, but I've just come across a really obscure release from late 76/early 77, which I haven't heard since then, it never charted, and is by an unknown group called R B Zipper and the title is Cruising with The Fonz. Last time I heard it would probably have been one night in about February 77, on Luxembourg, fading in and out!
