I'm sure to add to this thread over time but without needing contemplation Sam's 'jump' is a scene. I remember watching it the first time and with the playing of David Bowie's 'Life on Mars' song at its crescendo at that point I was on the edge of my seat amazed, incredulous, glued to the screen. The audience can so easily relate to the character of Sam Tyler. His presence in 1973 as a 'stranger' to the times is the same juxtaposition as the audience. We can understand his frustrations, his memories and his recollections of this time. (Not sure if I have to be vague about detail in case someone hasn't watched the series yet about plot spoilers)

It's a great scene Batgirl. Especially when he gets back to the team. Feel free to elaborate as much as you want. I'm sure anyone interested will have already seen the show.
I find it difficult to narrow the good scenes down as there are so many. I like the scenes with DCI Litton. I'd like to have seen more from this character in both LOM & A2A.

Agree there Gene, I also liked a couple of scenes;
Chris wondered why Sam put Tapioca pudding on his Beef burger - Sam thought it was Horseradish.........
You and Sam were in the Curry house - Sam thought he could hear Pulp the 90's pop group playing and said "Hang on that's Pulp!" You answered "It's not that bad is it?"
You popped your head out the Ice cream van and made the kids cry (Er,....... well a bit rough on the kids)
The Cortina reversing quickly up the one way street and pulling an impressive 90 deg turn - very Sweeney!

It was okay for you Gerry because you watched it through your TV screen. Not only did I have to sit there looking at Gene's face stuffed with a burger, I also had the smell of the burger and Gene's resulting flatulence.
I suppose I should be thankful that Ray and Chris weren't in there too.

Nothing wrong with that Sammy. No worse than sniffing a dead girls hair...

That's true, and at least we got to listen to The Sweet during the take.

Yes, about 15 times if I recall with that Tourette's bird in the frame. We were all in bits laughing at her!

Steady on boss. It's not my fault you broke the window winder in the Avenger. You broke the door handle as well and you've still got to pay for that!
