Our House (1982)
Another one of my 1980s favourites...

Our House! I did buy this on 7" vinyl along with a couple of other Madness tracks such as "House of fun" and also "The Prince" which I played hundreds of times!!

The gradual lower chart placings of Madness singles (which were still good), represented how music styles were changing for the worse as the 80s progressed.

Baggy trousers was the first 7in single I ever owned when I was about 6 or 7.

I bought Madness albums as they were released up until the compilations started to become compilations of compilations.
The best single for me was Night Boat To Cairo but there was so much over the years that I've liked. I doubt there's ever been a time when I've not had a Madness CD in the car.
Sam.
