Great post Mr Templar
Yes it is thanks to the contributions from all members that has made 4:3TV - The Retro Channel the success that it has become and what keeps it interesting.
I'd also like to extend my thanks to Gene for his unstinting dedication to the forum, and to the moderators Del and The Saint for their continued support.
Thanks to all and here's to the continued success
Sam.

20,000 has come up on us so quickly and easily it's hard to believe we've managed it in such a short space of time. Many hours have gone into the creation of this forum - and this side of things will continue. We are edging closer to a massive upgrade which will transform the forum into an even better place to be with fantastic new features. I'm sure it will be no time at all before we are approaching 100,000 posts.
A big thanks to both our resident Moderators who are reassuringly present throughout the day & night to make sure everything is in order. They aren't there just to give out warnings. They perform many tasks that members may be unaware of on a daily basis. Thanks lads. Me & Sam, having both served as Moderators in the past elsewhere know only too well the level of dedication required from that position.
Then there is the structure of the forum itself. Building this place from scratch in such a short space of time was no easy task and it could not have been done without the help of someone as diligent as Sam. We both had and continue to have the same ideas as to where we want to take the forum. We disagree on nothing at all. The net result is what we have here in 4:3tv.
It really is a pleasure to work together as a team. Thanks Sam
Then of course, the four of us would be nothing without the member base we have here. Our members are second to none anywhere else on the web. The level of knowledge about stuff is truly staggering sometimes and it's exactly that which makes this forum as good as it is.
Here is to all of you and long may we reign as the No1 Retro Resource on the web.
Gene Hunt.
