The Slade's Merry Christmas, is about the best, but I also like The Beach Boy's " Little Saint Nick" a lot. There are so many good Christmas songs, I love them. The Pogue's one, was declared the all time favourite by Smooth Radio the other day.

I must admit 2000 miles by The Pretenders is one of my favourite Christmas songs.... I like most Pretenders songs though because of Chrissie Hynde's amazing voice

Steed Good shout . I never used to like it but its grown on me over the years . It doesn't suffer from as much over play as some of the others. I saw the video earlier today and thought it was a bit strange. People in animal suits etc ?? Looks a bit cheap

Noticed this year, everywhere I've been, pubs, shops, leading up to Christmas etc, I've never heard "Merry Christmas" by Slade anywhere! But hey ho, the one for me has always been Jonah Louie too!

Slade,Pretenders,Jona Lewie,Wizzard, all great tracks if you ask me.There are only 2 types of Christmas song-:good or bad.The waitresses is a great track,Lennon,Band Aid,all good songs.I don't really do Mariah, any Cliff, those get on my wick to be honest. It may go against the grain but I also dislike Kylie singing that bilge 'Santa Baby'.

Thought I'd mention in case anyone hasn't seen it that the Saint Etienne video that Dirty posted features Richard O'Sullivan.

One I'd not heard for a few years, though not a favourite, came on the radio late on Christmas Eve and that was Chris Rea - Driving Home For Christmas. But in the same radio program was Mistletoe And Wine!
