Amazing that it was 2 years ago today that we lost Lewis Collins at just 67 years of age.

2 years! Time has flown by, I thought it was about a year.

Lewis was far and away my favourite in The Professionals, and he should have had a better career after the series ended. It's scary how quickly time goes by. That two years has flown over. R.I.P. Charles.

Two years already? Doesn't seem that long ago. Another actor who looked destined for a greater career but sad that he never had the success that Martin Shaw had.

Amazing how quick its gone. I thought Lewis passing was only last year. I agree with you Sam regarding his career. He was most definitely underused. Shame he didn't get the Bond gig as i think he would have done a great job on it.

RIP Lewis Collins. He was my favourite 'Professional'. I watched a lot of his movies and sought out the various shows he was in back in 2010 when I became interested in 'The Professionals' and there were many online to talk about it back then. My photo-bucket albums have plenty of screen stills so here is just a little tv/movie tribute in pics to Lewis Collins. The Professionals Who Dares Wins (1982) A Night on the Town (1983) Code name: Wild Geese (1984) Commando Leopard (1985) The Commander (1988) Jack the Ripper (1988) Alfred Hitchcock Presents, episode "The Man Who Knew Too Little", 1989 A Ghost in Monte Carlo (1992) Cluedo (1992) The Bill (2002)

Excellent screen grabs Batgirl - I still can't believe it's been two years since Lewis passed away. An often overlooked actor but his portrayal of Bodie in 'The Professionals' was spot on throughout the whole series and he was always my favourite. If only Cubby Broccoli had seen sense, Lewis would have been a fantastic James Bond. Villain

Thanks for posting the many pictures Batgirl. It shows what a varied and full career Lewis had. I agree with Villain that we would have made an ideal James Bond.
RIP

I can't believe that it has been 2 years since Lewis Collins passed away! To echo what others have already said, I too think that he would have been a great James Bond.

Here he is with George Cole in a play about a football team from the 70's series 'Village Hall'.
