Rising from the ashes of their predecessors Ruby Flipper, Legs & Co were the resident dance troupe on the BBC Top Of The Pops program from 1976 to 1981. Each week the girls were given a song in the charts to perform to. These performances could often be quite controversial mainly for the skimpy outfits they wore as well as the sometimes racy moves they made. Something T.V campaigners such as Mary Whitehouse would regularly complain about. The members were : Gill Clark Lulu Cartwright Patti Hammond Pauline Peters Rosemary Hetherington Sue Menhenick From L-R Legs & Co are : Patti - Gill - Rosie - Lulu - Sue - Pauline
