4:3tv Presents 4:3tv Meet 016 - Villain April 14th 2024 Really happy to be kicking off the New Year with this announcement. A Meet that a number of members have asked me about quite a few times over the years and although I've been to these locations it will be a real privilege to take the squad round on an official Meet. Unlike the previous Meet where most of the locations were totally unrecogniseable now, the locations on this Villain Meet remain largely unchanged so it will be great to revisit the scenes from this brilliant film. I'll be drawing up a full itinerary in the coming weeks but for now, the information you will need is as follows. I will be making a weekend of it as usual, and arriving in London on Saturday lunch time with plans to have a leisurely stroll around a few pubs during the afternoon & evening. I will be staying in the Premier Inn London Chiswick >>> HOTEL<<< which is a large hotel with a secure underground car park. We have stayed here before and it has been excellent. Anyone wishing to also make a weekend of it is free to select either this hotel or their own choice of hotel for Saturday & Sunday evening. Just be aware that you will need to be near to The Premier Inn Chiswick for the start of the Meet on Sunday morning. I have not drawn up the itinerary yet but drivers and cars will be required so please, if you can offer your services as squad driver then please make this clear when registering. Driving will be around South London first thing but then we will take a reasonable drive out to Bracknell for our lunch break and also the main location from Villain, the scene of the blag. The afternoon will see a return drive back into London for a couple of final locations before parking back at the Hotel late afternoon. An itinerary will be published as soon as possible but for now, please register your interest below. Remember to indiciate if you are to be a designated driver & also if you intend to be with us both days or just for the Sunday Meet. If you have never attended a 4:3tv Meet - this may be a fantastic way to get started on what is always a really superb event. REGISTER: - Gene Hunt - Sat & Sun

Superb!
It has beens years since I worked in Bracknell and at the time was blissfully unaware of 'Villain' being filmed there. I remember the industrial estates as they were in the late 80s, barely 17 or 18 years after the film was made. Almost double that time has passed since so it will be good to return to the old haunts.
Just Sunday for me but I'm happy to be a reserve driver.
Sam.

Fantastic news Gene - count me in Guv! Put me down for the Sunday and as a driver please Gene - there's a possibility I may have a Rover P5B Coupe by then, I've got my eye on a couple, both of which are the same colour as Vic Dakin's Coupe in the film. Villain

No rest for the wicked eh Gene? Put me down for this one please. Just Sunday at the moment but that is subject to change and I'll be sure to keep you updated. As per previous meets, I can drive if needed but I'll only get one in comfortably so will be a non-driver provisionally. As always, looking forward to seeing the lads again and visiting new locations, thanks Gene

Yes, I'm getting one of those kiddy trailers that you see being towed by blokes with man-buns on push-bikes, it'll be perfect for Vienna and John Steed. Sam
