Sad to report that Glenda Jackson has passed away aged 87. Her she is pictured with Michael Caine after completing filming of 'The Great Escaper' Personally I can't help but remember her on the Morecambe & Wise Show. R.I.P Glenda.

Personally I can't help but remember her on the Morecambe & Wise Show. "All men are fools, and what makes them so is having beauty like what I have got..." Here she's pictured with Michael Caine, during filming of The Romantic Englishwoman, 1975 A formidable, gutsy and kaleidoscopic woman on many a front. British talent at its very best RIP Glenda

Very sad news. I remember her well with Oliver Reed in Ken Russell's "Women In Love" but, like Gene, for me she'll be most affectionately remembered for her appearances on the Morecambe And Wise Show. R.I.P. Glenda

R.I.P Glenda Jackson - Great that she could happily work with Morecambe and Wise and yet played strong women roles well

Strangely, I always remember her as Queen Elizabeth I in the 1971 historical drama film Mary, Queen of Scots. She must have put in a memorable performance. RIP Glenda

I saw her once, in London, about 20 years ago, when she was an MP. I remember her from the film A Touch of class, as well as her brilliant appearance with Eric and Ernie.
RIP Glenda
