Really sad news that I saw earlier this evening when it broke. We'll always be eternally appreciative of his direction of Get Carter. I’ve never seen Pulp (1972) so will need to track that down.

Terribly sad news. Mike made a fantastic contribution to the British film industry with Get Carter, one of the best British films ever. I'm not familiar with Mike's other works, but I will look them up in the near future.
RIP Mike Hodges.

Very sad news Get Carter was nothing short of a brilliant film however I note that he also directed Flash Gordon but to this day I've never seen it in its entirety. R.I.P. Mike

Very sad news.
As others have said, I'm not aware of/seen pretty much any of his other works, but if he came along, did Get Carter, and went away again, that would be have been enough anyway.
He also did good enlightening commentary for the GC DVD.
RIP Mike

RIP Mike Hodges, I only know of the great work he did on Get Carter, but have seen Flash Gordon, whilst not realising it was Mike who directed that. His work will be much appreciated more, the next time I watch Get Carter.

Sad news. He seemed an unassuming modest guy from the interviews I have seen over the years. RIP.

Sad news, strangely enough I was watching 'Get Carter'last week and started reading Steve Chibnal's fine book on the making of the film again too.
Mike was given a copy of Ted Lewis's book 'Jack's Return Home' in early 1970 and by the end of the year the film was largely in the bag.
RIP Mike Hodges.
