Sad news, I liked him, he was good in everything I saw him in. He was also interested in engineering too.

The media will probably concentrate on Cracker and the Harry Potter roles, but I always liked his comedy performances, particular in the Scottish comedy sketch shows of the 80s. Sad news. RIP.

Sad news indeed.
A very versatile actor who could do straight and tough as easily as humour and camp.
I'll always remember him for his iconic Two Tribes soundtracked walk along the seawall in Supergrass.
And for selling the Syrup his Roger Moore!
RIP Robbie

R.I.P Robbie Coltrane - Great in everything he was in, and a deep thinker away from acting too.

A truly great actor with so many fine performances, effortlessly slipping from drama to comedy with equal brilliance I'd like to send my heartfelt contrafibularities, to quote Doctor Johnson from "Blackadder"
