I just heard that Lee Montague is down to appear at the next Misty Moon Sweeney Event in March at the Cinema Museum. I'd really love to be at this one. The thing is for me though the rail ticket availability and expense. Also I'd probably need to book a hotel for the night.
I wouldnt hesitate if I lived down there. Not sure if tickets are still available at this stage.
Charles.

On a basic Google search it says that George Sweeney is down for the event, but no mention of Lee, although it says other guests will be announced, so I don't know if you have some insider intel there, Charles.
It would be great for the event if Mr Montague is definitely able to attend as, in the nicest possible way, he does have many miles on the clock by now. Fair play to him if he does attend, and I'd certainly want to know what his secret is!
Tickets do seem to still be available at time of writing, but I'm not certain I'd be able to go on that day or not (11 March), and by the time I do know, I may end up missing the boat. Hopefully that'll be clarified sooner rather than later.
I've not heard of the Cinema Museum before, so looked it up. Completely outside of the topic, but just thought I'd mention it's located one road to the east of Renfrew Road, the northern part of it being where Stan crashed the London Country Luxton & District Atlantean in "The Poster" episode of On The Buses!

Many thanks for that Charles, sounds very interesting about who might be attending the Sweeney fan meet at the Cinema museum; Have kept it in mind as I've enjoyed the past events and would like to go. But as Charles says, just a bit concerned regarding the train availability by then due to the current situation;
When I went last June I booked a hotel room for the Saturday night but couldn't get a train home from St Pancras till about mid afternoon the next day, due to engineering works. Previous years I've gone home the same evening but it was quite late by the time I got back. But I'll keep it in mind.

Fantastic. So pleased that Lee is obviously still in decent enough fettle to attend something like this. Massive respect.
Going by that tweet, it looks like along with Kibber, Tim Cook, Albie Spooner and Julie Kingdom will be there also. I don't know who Judy Jarvis is though.
Ooh, I need to find out asap that day will be free!
