IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
For those of you driving to Manchester and staying at The Premier Inn Manchester City Piccadilly, the car park is right opposite the hotel. It is owned by CitiPark. The car park address is: CitiPark, 75 Dale Street, Manchester, M1 2HG. It is accessed through an Archway with the name 'Piccadilly Basin' on it.
This car park has 285 spaces and is usually £16 per day but for those of us staying in the Premier Inn, we get a reduced rate of £11 per day. That's a tenner saved when parking for2 days.
The procedure is as follows:
Drive in to the car park and park. Get a ticket from the machine. Keep the ticket with you until you check out of the hotel. At this point, the hotel will validate the ticket so that you get the discounted price. Head back to the car park and present your validated ticket to the machine and pay there.

Does the meet start up outside the Premier inn Piccadilly on Sunday morning? I'll probably park up on this side road at the bottom of Cheetham Hill road, then walk up to Piccadilly to meet up.

Yes, Carty. In short, Everyone is to meet outside The Premier Inn Manchester Piccadilly - 72 Dale St, Manchester M1 2HR at NO LATER THAN 8.45am on the Sunday morning . The Meet will start at 9am SHARP. We will head off on foot from here for the morning walking tour which should take us to around 11.15 - 11.30, ending back at The Premier Inn. From here we will continue with the driving section of the Meet. This will total around 35 miles in total, ending back at The Premier Inn around 6pm. Remember all drivers, we are counting on you to turn up as we are on the limit with available seats. I would like to remind all passengers to do the decent thing and offer you driver of the day something towards their fuel costs. We are currently right on the limit so are HEAVILY reliant on our drivers to be there on time. Drivers are: - The Saint - 4 seats
- Gerry Burtonshaw - 4 seats
- Get Carter - 5 seats
- Peter Picard - 4 seats
Total: 17 seats with 14 members attending.
An offer of one more driver would make things more secure.

1 WEEK TO GO! The weekend is almost upon us. Take this last opportunity to watch the necessary episodes, look carefully through the itinerary and turn up on time! Any questions, now is the time to ask. UPDATE: There appear to be some problems around the country with fuel shortages. Queues are building at fuel stations. Those of you who are driving to, during and from the Meet please ensure you keep your motors topped up this week to avoid problems next weekend.Gene.

It's going to be a great meet, hope this nonsense going on with fuel will be a blip that corrects it's self over the weekend. The shortage is caused by over buying not supply ! It's a cracking itinerary Gene, can't wait to look at these locations.
