I've just been sent these great photos of Tim Healy by a contact I have called Michael Forsyth. Tim (known as Malcolm back then) was Michaels brother's best friend and was Best Man at his wedding. Taken some time in the late 60s when they lived in Ouston (which is very near to The Robin Hood pub which featured in the Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads episode "The Great Race" that some 4:3tv members visited on a Meet a few years back.
Michael has some more photos and is sending them over to me when he finds them.
Frightened by Horror Films? - Just remember, BEHIND the camera stand even more horrifying individuals moaning about the Catering food, the hours they work and quoting Union Rules... that's just the Electricians.
Fantastic pictures that show Tim in a relaxed and personal scenario away from, and pre-dating, the TV cameras. That picture of him sat alone in the tent looks like a typical and unmistakably "Dennis" pose.
One question though: why is 4:3TV's D.C. Burtonshaw appearing to be asleep in the back right of the third photo?
Thanks for managing to blag these photos and for posting them up here Gene.
I'm going to say this once and once only Gene: Stay out of Camberwick Green!
