Yes I enjoy Never The Twain, Windsor Davies & Donald Sinden make a great double act, not a show I'd buy on dvd but if it's on I'll watch it.
'Chance In A Million' with Simon Callow & Brenda Blethyn started recently on Forces TV, not as funny as I remember.

Which one was "Fresh Fields" and "French Fields" on? ITV3 or Forces? Never got into either the first time round, and not so much during the repeats either.

Fresh/French Fields was poor, you haven't missed anything Sparks.
Chance in a Million, mm, watched it at the time, didn't dislike it, but haven't seen it since, probably like Arthur, wouldn't find it very funny now.

Fresh Fields is on Drama, one of those horribly twee sitcoms that I'd never watch but I have found myself watching it whilst eating my tea, it's actually not that bad
I've noticed that the sound has been noticeably out of sync for months on this channel & CCXTV which shows Drama channel content 1 hour later.

I've watched a few episodes of 'Never The Twain' on Forces TV, and very much enjoyed them. I never realized how good a series it was. Apart from that, I've not watched anything else on the channel up to now. I will check it again sometime. Charles. Charles, I find they loop a lot of the stuff. What I did with Citizen Smith was set up a series link on my box and it eventually picked up all the episodes.

I haven't seen Chance in a million either since I watched it at the time. I also wonder whether it would be as good as I remember ... possibly not! Steed

Steed Not seen Chance in a Million for a long, long time. The last episode I saw was in the 80s - had Brenda Blethlyn waltzing around in a Basque....
It was on around the time of the Kit Curran Radio Show - anyone remember that??

I do remember Kit Curran, written by Andy Hamilton, the little fella who appears on 'Have I Got News For You' sometimes, he wrote later episodes of 'Shelley'. Theme tune by Auf W Pet's David MacKay & Ian La Frenais.
I noticed that the wife of the director of the first series, Derrick Goodwin, is called Nell Curran, wonder if that's where the name comes from?

"Life is Fantisco, Here on the Radio".....
Andy Hamilton used to pop up a few times on Mock the Week. Not seen him on anything for ages. Didn't know he wrote 'Shelley'.
