A mate of mine went to one of his concerts years ago, and enjoyed it a lot. I'm not too familiar with his music myself though. Sorry to hear he's passed away. R.I.P.

I took my Mom & Dad to see the James Last Orchestra a few years ago and it was a sellout. I enjoyed it. His production was immaculate and his catalogue of work was immense.

RIP James. The teachers in my primary school used to play his music on many of the assemblies from one of those wooden box record players from the 4 foot Long PA speakers most schools had.

His style was an acquired taste but there was no doubting his genius and work ethic - turning out 2 albums per month in the 70's.

RIP James Last. A walk in the Black Forest beckons, accompanied by his wonderful music.

I like easy listening versions of pop & rock songs.
RIP James Last.
