Contessa ‘Tracy’ Di Vincenzo’s 1969 Mercury Cougar Convertible XR-7 from OHMSS is being auctioned tonight in London. • One of three ordered specially for the film • Used in filming the barn scene • Full restoration completed in 2020 www.bonhams.com/auctions/26122/lot/104/The Saint

Saw one of the OHMSS Cougars, (perhaps it was this one) at the 007 exhibition that was in Covent Garden in about 2014 with several other Bond film vehicles and gadgets on display.

Thanks for the info Simon, looks like it was a decent restoration job done on it. From the Bonham's page: It's a good price achieved for the seller, can't say that I can see that value in it when there were three of them. Do the others still exist I wonder? Sam.

It’s a great result for the seller. Some sources say 3 cars were used in the film, others say it was 4 cars. 3 cars are known to have survived including this particular car. The Saint

It has rear seat belts which seems well ahead of its time.
